About the role:

We are currently seeking to appoint a Unit Writer who can write comprehensive and engaging educational and assessment materials for our new Social Work units.   

Writing educational materials is ideal for experienced professionals who want to utilise their skills and knowledge to continue to make an impact in the sector.  

This is a contract, fully flexible (work from home) position. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Unit Writer will:

  • Develop learning and assessment materials including written study materials, assessment activities, marker (answer) guides and books of readings.
  • Ensure learning materials meet the required learning outcomes.
  • Incorporate feedback into learning materials.
  • Proof material for formatting, educational and grammatical correctness.

Skills and Experience:

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Relevant qualification/s in Social Work or a related field such as Counselling or Psychology. 
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and advanced experience with Microsoft Word.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
